Can remote coaching actually develop a hockey player?+
The habits that separate players — where they look, when they move, what they do before the puck arrives — live on video. That's exactly what our coaches read. Remote players get the same eyes, the same standard, and the same one-cue-at-a-time coaching as our Lower Mainland athletes. The only thing we can't do remotely is tie their skates.
What footage do we need?+
Whatever you have. A phone from the stands works — most of our remote families film exactly that way. Your coach will show you the two or three angles that make review easiest, and the portal handles the upload.
Is this just film review?+
No. Film is the input, not the product. Your player gets a coach who knows their game, a live 1-on-1 session every month, a specific focus to train between reviews, and a report that proves the progress. It's a development program that happens to travel well.
What about time zones and languages?+
Sessions are scheduled around your family, not our rink. We've built the program so footage review happens on your coach's time and live calls happen on yours.
